About the Charity Auction

AnimeNEXT’s first Charity Auction was run by one of our guests, Jonathan Klein, almost a decade ago. Since then our amazing team and supporting vendor A.R.K. Studios have grown the auction by leaps and bounds. With over 300+ items to auction off at our regular auction and 18+ adult auction, they have vetted some amazing and extremely rare items.

The proceeds from our Charity Auction go towards the charity or charities that we choose to support for a given year. In past years, some of the best selling items have been signed by Hayao Miyazaki, the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and so many others.

Come check them out in the Junior Ballroom in Hall E at the NJ Expo Center for your chance to bid on and purchase a plethora of must have items.

This Year’s Charity

This year AnimeNEXT will be donating all of the proceeds from the Charity Auctions to the Twilight Wish Foundation.

The Twilight Wish Foundation is an organization that aims to honor and enrich the lives of deserving seniors. These wishes can be as simple as reconnecting with lost passions to seeing people that they have not seen in decades. They help society to embrace age by encouraging seniors to live life to the fullest, helping improve the mental and physical health, and making sure that they do not live in isolation as many seniors tend to do.

Seniors experiencing social isolation can put them at risk of developing medical conditions such as high blood pressure or dementia. Since 2003, they have granted over 5,200 wishes varying from getting stair lifts to meeting celebrities and people that inspire them.

A.R.K. Studios

This will be our first year working with the convention in person. During the pandemic, we have partnered with AnimeNEXT to procure many amazing items including the ones seen above.

In addition to assisting the AN Charity Auction team, we have also helped bring many amazing things to the show such as themed coins, championship wrestling belts for Cosplay Pro Wrestling, and their first ever 18+ Adult Charity Auction.

We are also planning on hosting three major photo shoots at the convention: Pokemon (Friday), My Hero Academia (Saturday), and Mario/Nintendo (Sunday).

Along with all of this, we have two major giveaways, but the only way to find out more information is to meet us at the convention or follow us on social media to see it go live!

We have so many things planned for AnimeNEXT, and we hope to continue for many years to come! Do not forget to share, like, and subscribe to our social media pages.

And we’ll see everyone at AnimeNEXT 2023.
